GroupMe for Windows Phone gets a redesign and Audible gets updated too

Although there aren't many new major apps to denote for Windows Phone yet this week, two large titles but received some updates and ane has some major changes.

Start up is Audible, 1 of the more requested apps that took a long time to become to Windows Telephone. It has now hit version 1.3 equally of today. Unfortunately that is nearly all we can tell y'all at this point as there was no accompanying changlog. That'southward not the starting time time Aural has done such and update.

Seeing equally that app has had a few bugs for some of our users, nosotros'll assume that some fixes and tweaks have been made to improve app stability. Allow us know if y'all notice any other changes.

The other is GroupMe, the popular chat service that allows you to take chat groups via data connection (or SMS as a backup). We're big fans of the service, especially since Microsoft technically owns them (well, Skype does at least).

Version three.5 has simply gone live in the Marketplace and it has non only issues fixes, just too pregnant improvements in app functioning—words we always like to hear around these parts. In addition, an array of new features have been added to make the service fifty-fifty more useful, including:

A cleaner, better chat interface
Likes!
A news feed
Tappable URLs
Compression & zoom on pics
Hide individual messages
Marking all letters as read

We simply loaded upwardly the new GroupMe and the app does experience a trivial zippier only naught too dramatic. The like-option is interesting though nosotros're not sure we'll exactly use it merely the remainder of those features are certainly welcome.
