How To Remove Control Center From Iphone
With the release of iOS 11, Apple has finally added the much-awaited feature, allowing users to customize Control Center on iPhone or iPad by Adding, Deleting and Re-arranging the Control Center icons to suit your own requirements.
Customize Control Center on iPhone and iPad
Ever since Apple introduced the Control Center in iOS 7, users have been waiting for an update that can allow them to Customize the Control Center.
Apple has finally made the Control Center customizable in iOS 11 and it has also redesigned the Control Center, giving it a much more modern and cleaner look.
In addition to this, the control center in iOS 11 has a lot more quick options when you 3D Touch press on a control's icon in Control Center. Even those with non-3D touch devices will have the ability to long press on a control's icon to access some quick options.
Coming to the customization part, you can now Add Controls, Remove Controls and also organize the Controls in the Control Center.
However, this feature is still very limited and you cannot remove or reorganize basic controls like WiFi, Cellular, Airplane Mode, Bluetooth, Now Playing, screen rotation, Do not Disturb, Screen Mirroring, Brightness and Volume controls.
These basic Controls will always remain in the Control Center and cannot be removed or reorganized. Also, the customization feature is not available for third-party Apps.
Add Controls to Control Center on iPhone
Follow the steps below to Add Controls to the Control Center on your iPhone or iPad.
1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and then tap on theControl Center option.
2. On the Control Center screen, tap on Customize Controls. (See image below)
3. On the Customize Controls screen, scroll down to "More Controls" section and tap on the plus button next to the Control that you want to Add to the Control Center on your iPhone or iPad (See image below).
In the above example, tapping on the Plus Icon next to the "Accessibility Shortcuts" option, will add an Accessibility shortcut to the Control Center
Remove Controls From Control Center on iPhone
Follow the steps below, in case you want to Remove any Control from the Control Center.
1. Tap on Settings > Control Center
2. On the Control Center screen, tap on Customize Controls.
3. On the next screen, scroll down to "Include" section and then tap on the red Minus icon located next to the Control that you want to remove from Control Center (See image below).
4. Next, tap on the red Remove button in order to remove the Control from the Control Center on your iPhone or iPad.
Organize Controls in Control Center on iPhone
After Adding and Removing Controls from the Control Center, you can also organize the Control Center to your liking.
1. Tap on Settings > Control Center
2. On the next screen, tap on Customize Controls option
3. On the Customize screen, you can drag the Controls Up or Down by tapping and holding on the 3-line icon located to the right of the Control's Name (See image below).
4. Depending on your requirements or preference, you can rearrange the Controls as you want them.
